Honestly, I don’t know what you mean by switches.

Do you mean a surge protector?
That apparently has indeed become mandatory, but normally that does not cost €3,000.

You should make a habit of formulating precisely. According to which legal fire protection laws should what be done additionally/differently?! Without exact concrete information, nothing can be said about this. Nobody really knows what you mean.

Presumably, fire protection switches are meant here, which must now be installed mandatorily in wooden houses. The corresponding DIN VDE 0100-420 was published last year, and the transition period has probably expired.

One fire protection switch per circuit.
Cost per piece between 70 and 130 euros depending on the source and manufacturer.

Such nonsense. DIN VDE 0100-420 states something completely different.

In 2-2016 it states exactly that.
As soon as a building is constructed from combustible materials (wooden house, timber frame) and the electrical planning is not prior to 02.2016, the standard applies and requires fire protection switches.

With the publication of this standard, it is considered an accepted rule of technology and should be complied with. It is not a law but can be used if a fire occurs and it can be proven that the building was not constructed according to the recognized rules of technology. Thus, the manufacturer could be held liable. To prevent this, the manufacturer mentioned here installs the fire protection switches.

The sense and nonsense of these fire protection switches is another matter.
