To avoid trouble, you can type it out and post it in your own thread. Then you can be helped. Of course, it must never be recognizable at any time who it is about.

I think the real "trick" is to stay within the limits of what is feasible and then calmly choose a good local quality and build a few square meters less than what is generally considered "necessary."

It becomes more expensive if

[*]one previously tried to appear as a "super clever winner" when negotiating the price with the contracting partner, because the professionals take back what they need
[*]one awards on-site direct works based on gut feeling
[*]one forgets that some unit prices are paid according to effort (and then, for example, encounters soil class 7)
[*]one previously tried to make everything look good on paper
[*]one forgot positions in one’s calculation
[*]one hires companies or people who do not love what they do

So have you already exceeded the 27.5k? I just checked your finance thread and saw that you wanted to build a 500k house + 50k incidental costs.

Since I’m currently planning my buffer, it would be very interesting for me to know the reason for this. Like which items turned out to be more expensive for you afterward or were not included in the calculation.

I’m still hoping that I calculated quite well. I have already tried to account for many price issues and unforeseen additional costs from my new neighbors in the construction area. Still, the buffer is really a hot topic.

I haven't achieved anything yet, but I know how we are...

After all, the BU calculates with 40 €/m2 tile price and 450€ per interior door and so on...

I will list everything in another thread. Price so far for the house including additional costs and gravelled outdoor facilities is 590k€

I assume that we will add quite a bit when selecting materials, because "You only build once"... Maybe I'll go to hypnosis beforehand to avoid doing that
