Why building a house almost always costs more than calculated

110k difference between "before detailed planning" and "end of detailed planning including sampling"

I believe everyone has now understood that sufficiently...

In the old building/existing structure:

about 10% more in the total budget than planned, but also significantly more/different work done than originally planned. Overall, about 25% of the renovation budget was used differently than intended.

We also have over 60k additional costs, and this with a property developer project. Mainly responsible are the kitchen, bathroom, and electrical work.

Kitchen is very individual and I would not count it - at least if it goes beyond the 10-15K €.
