Ok. I just have no idea then.

Regarding the regular shower... and outrageous prices. Number 1 on my Top 10 list of the most outrageous prices is still the additional LED lighting in the Villeroy & Boch bathtub. 2x LED lights at 700 EUR each!!! Ok... there is a small transformer included. Even I have no words for that anymore. But we definitely want it since our current bathtub also has underwater LED lighting and it’s really very nice. Difference: Our current steam sauna bathtub (including whirlpool, radio, telephone and other nonsense) only cost a total of 1500 EUR. Made in China. We’re skipping things like whirlpools. We’re done with those.

Which brings us back to the original topic. However, as far as I have read here, you can afford it. So it is well deserved for you.

Well... our cancellation list is now even longer than the extra list. There are just too many great things. The first desired staircase was supposed to cost 22,000 EUR. Now there’s one for 7,000 included. You can blow any budget, no matter how high, immensely. As I said, we are at 110k plus but now we are done with the sampling etc. So (hopefully) nothing more will come.

One more thing: The biggest "aha" moment was in an "upscale" kitchen studio. After we finished drooling and were given the first prices... phew... I’ll just say: Gaggenau, concrete/epoxy countertop and and and... 50,000 for a kitchen is still average... oh forget it

Well, everyone just has their own personal pain threshold.

As everywhere in life, I believe the Pareto principle also applies here... the art is always to find the 80% performance for 20% price.
