Whether made of glass or not, you’re definitely talking to a brick wall here if you accompany the idea of building a house around a staircase with a furrowed-question-mark.
thanks for the helpful contribution. Otherwise, I have now made a few changes. I rotated the staircase, which will make the entrance area look significantly larger and also avoids the "dirt problem" in front of the stairs. The passage also widens, although 1 meter would have been enough for me. As a compromise, I’m giving up 1 sqm of the bathroom. I don’t find that a problem since it’s still sufficient for me. Since there will be a pool anyway (hence also the shower on the ground floor), I don’t consider the bathroom a wellness area. The bathtub could be omitted or reduced in size, as in my opinion babies and toddlers don’t need a 1.7-meter tub. For that, I now have an additional window in the hallway on the upper floor, so the lighting issue there is solved as well. The office is now also between the parents and KZ1, which should also fit in terms of the fireplace and windows.

Best regards Christoph
