Hi Tamstar, that was already considered once, but the window arrangement didn’t fit there. If that changes on the ground floor now, it will definitely be an option again.I'm back with my childhood trauma... but I would place the office between the bedroom and the children's room, unless that has already been discarded in the course of the thread.

Some good ideas - but here too you hardly stand 2 meters behind the front door and next to the stairs in the kitchen. I don't find that very attractive or cozy. With perhaps an 80 cm wide corridor next to the stairs? As a bottleneck to the large open space? That is not inviting.
The bottleneck can perhaps be visually softened by an open, light staircase.

Ah, then it probably has to be in the text after all. It would be more important to me than symmetry, but everyone sets different priorities :) And maybe your architect can even manage both.

Screw the blasted symmetry, it has no moral value! Or to quote Mel Brooks: forget the ring, the ring is junk, I got it from a gumball machine!it was planned exactly like that before, only the window arrangement didn't fit.

Make the bathroom downstairs a bit narrower, place the shower at the end, and give the kitchen a bit more space and line spacing. 115 is really quite little to pass by each other.
Isn't 120cm a fairly common value? How much is it exactly in the picture? 130?
