That would explain my 3ct price difference Stadtwerke vs. Onlinevergleich 11/2021.

I don't want to destroy hope here, but with the upcoming energy transition, the current price increases in the area of fossil fuels will unfortunately only be the beginning. In terms of electricity prices, the state will intervene in the short to medium term to prevent prices from rising massively, most of these are taxes and surcharges anyway.

That will be the case. But the heat pump owners paid 10,000 for their part, the gas burners cost 2,500. (Preise Junkers Wärmepumpe vs. Junkers Cerapur Gastherme) Gas would have to cost a lot more for many years.

I see the same price trend. I would like to specify the reasoning a bit: the price driver is not the sustainable alternative to fossil fuels, but the inclusion of climate damages in the price initially through a moderate CO2 charge.

Specifically, four interventions come to mind:

[*]Reducing exemptions from the Renewable Energy Act surcharge. It is primarily the unequal distribution of surcharge costs that makes electricity so expensive for private households.
[*]Promotion instead of double taxation of grid-stabilizing storage systems
[*]Regulation for the strategic integration of gas power plants in grid stabilization – this technical solution is not utilized due to the Renewable Energy Act surcharge procedure.
[*]Solution for people with low incomes – exactly how, I do not know.

And chimney, gas connection, possibly solar thermal as well as hot water storage were certainly included for free  But thank you very much for exemplarily illustrating my post from yesterday. And just so it gets into the fossil minds: Electricity can be generated easily and cleanly by yourself, gas cannot.
