Gas price increase as of 1.1.2022

I hadn't understood the annual performance factor until now, but it makes sense for determining the efficiency of heat generation. The only downside is when the heating load is so low that the pump power consumption disproportionately affects the total heat pump consumption. But that also applies equally to gas.

Just earlier, after shopping, I walked past a very new (installed about 8 weeks ago, I watched the craftsman) and a roughly one-year-old heat pump again. I heard the very new heat pump disturbingly, despite car traffic, about 12 steps, so about 6.5m away; the older one from a year ago, without car traffic, about 10 steps away. I don’t fly, I rarely eat meat, and I rarely drive a car, but I allow myself to be undisturbed by this all-pervading hum-buzz noise. Senses may be developed differently in each person, so someone might be more visually impressionable, for example by an extremely ugly tattoo, for me it’s sounds, for another person taste.

Not bad. The price increase confirms my decision to integrate a brine-water heat pump into the new building and support it with a larger photovoltaic system. Yes, in the months when electricity is needed, the least electricity is produced. But at least some of it is fed in via photovoltaics :) And gas prices will continue to know only one direction.
