It doesn't just concern gas. With heat pumps, it's even more extreme. So far, we've paid 21 cents and now the cheapest is 26 cents or right after that 30 cents.
So a 30 to 50% increase in one year. That makes several hundred euros more in heating costs. Quite intense.
I have now found a heat pump tariff at 21 cents, but not through comparison portals, rather directly on the web.
And actually, electricity should become cheaper, as the Renewable Energy Act surcharge is reduced by 3 cents starting 01.01.22.
Right now, it's really good to have a fireplace or stove ;)
