I have now found a heat pump tariff at 21 cents, but not through comparison portals, rather directly on the web.

And actually, electricity should become cheaper, as the Renewable Energy Act surcharge is reduced by 3 cents starting 01.01.22.

Right now, it's really good to have a fireplace or stove ;)

Heat electricity should go from 19 to 26 cents here. I have also found the Stadtwerke Magdeburg with the "Turbine" products - without the portals. They keep the 19 cents (by the way, at the other end of the nation), however they do it. Contract confirmation and registration are already done.

The main thing is that we dumb Germans always have to be the pioneers everywhere...

Even in this context, a quote by Martin Niemöller always comes to my mind:

"When the Nazis came for the Communists, I remained silent; I was not a Communist.
When they came for the trade unionists, I remained silent; I was not a trade unionist.
When they came for the Jews, I remained silent; I was not a Jew.
When they came for me, there was no one left to protest."

It can be well adapted to environmental protection... In that sense, I think it is very good that Germany is doing it, less good how they are doing it...
