Floor plan single-family house city villa approx. 240m² without basement

Okay, it's your decision, I just see it completely differently. And I hadn't even taken into account the great practical objection from yet.

From my point of view, it even turns from "no significant advantage" into an "often annoying or at least inconvenient situation" to have to walk through there. Especially since the path around it is even covered.

It’s difficult for me because the changes are, to put it kindly, "not very obvious," i.e. when I am presented with "new" floor plans as "spot the difference" pictures

I would swap the toilet and the washbasin

The door to the all-purpose room should be arranged centered to the stairs

The shower bathroom on the upper floor is also poorly furnished. It should be extended by 2 meters, for example placing the shower in the windowless corner,

But it is mixed up according to my use of space: the kitchen will be dark, sofa and chill area get the south-facing window

We decided on this because with small children it is very practical to get to/from the car.

I find it much more pleasing now. Ok, the exterior view is not my thing, just like the mushroom head, but it doesn’t have to please me. Regarding the floor plan: finally some light is coming into the place! But the room usage is mixed up according to me: kitchen will be dark, sofa and chill corner get the south window, which is only used in winter. The hidden and narrow pantry is also not my thing. However, a lot is better now. The toilet on the ground floor is right by the door. 1.50 m is not wide enough. I would swap the toilet and washbasin there. Shower bathroom on the upper floor is also badly furnished. It should be extended by 2 meters, e.g. the shower into the windowless corner, turn the toilet so that daylight can also reach the washbasin. The door to the all-purpose room should be arranged centrally to the stairs, otherwise the line of sight towards the stairs seems unsuccessful. Regarding the door garage/wardrobe: I promise you, the floor of the storage room will be covered with shoes. It is not usable as a passage room in a household with children. Just yesterday at Hausbauhelden I again heard that they rather go over the covered front and front door than through the ugly steel door. Without a door the room can be better furnished and used. Edit/P.s. I haven’t compared it with the original on the monitor now, as I still have the design with the kitchen annex and dark all-purpose room very well in mind ;)

It would be different if the room were not a separate room, but then the ugly steel door would be even more disturbing. A small coat and storage room tempts you to also use the floor. No matter how disciplined you are. And I'm not talking about children, but about the situation when you're in a hurry. And suddenly the shoes or bag are standing there. It is simply not practical as planned. (The freezer at the end of the long narrow pantry isn't either... how wide is that supposed to be?)
