It would be different if the room were not a separate room, but then the ugly steel door would be even more disturbing. A small cloakroom storage room invites the floor to be used as well. No matter how disciplined you are yourself. And I'm not talking about children, but about the situation of being in a hurry. And suddenly the slippers or the bag are standing there.
As planned, it is simply not practical. (The freezer at the end of the long narrow pantry neither… how wide is it supposed to be?)

Well, the entire kitchen bay, for example, is gone. That does catch the eye, doesn’t it? All that YPG says and additionally in the children's bathroom placing the window all the way into the corner, like in the utility room. Gives more space for the shower in the corner. I see that differently, I think the kitchen gets enough light and it is located right next to the terrace and the outdoor kitchen. I also think that’s right. I don’t have a door and often have to go into my garage extension and for that open the gate every time. That’s annoying. An alternative would be a door in the gate. Or going around the back via the terrace. If you twist the entire floor plan to realize such a passage at all costs, I would also say "get rid of the door." But for you it fits perfectly! Otherwise, I’m glad you took on my suggestions and of course I like your floor plan because of that :)

Thank you very much! I’m also not completely happy with the bathrooms yet, thanks for the input regarding the layout. I do understand the concerns about the airlock towards the garage, but for us the advantages outweigh them.

As written, I understand the concerns but for us the advantages outweigh them. In the worst case, it is as you described and the passage is not very usable, but nothing else happens. Then I can always put a shelf in front of the door, but I do not expect that. The kitchen/pantry will be planned in detail later; it is also not fixed that it will need another freezer. The idea is to have the "hidden" passage to the pantry in the kitchen front, primarily storage space there plus a section with a worktop.

I don't think that's one hundred percent right, but there have been worse things. What I would change: 1. The door in the parents' bathroom swings towards the throne occupant's knees. That causes bruises. However, no quick solution. 2. The terrace roof should be made entirely of glass with an under-canopy awning. This way, the kitchen won't be so dark. 3. Access to the pantry should not be through the kitchen cabinets (unfortunately not entirely clear - as currently planned).
