One more question: Would you leave the door to the HER as it is, or would you place the door to the utility room into the kitchen? The advantage, as currently drawn, would be that you can immediately put down shoes and jackets at the still planned wardrobe opposite the stairs when entering the house through the garage, on the other hand, having a direct door to the utility room would of course mean shorter walking distances regarding supplies, etc.

If you want a pure work island, I would plan it like in the attachment. The door to the dining room is only 1 meter away, and if you come from the garage, you will certainly have to go to the wardrobe more often than to the kitchen first.

I would definitely recommend that too. Regarding the placement of the sink and stove: this is only an example here; others will surely know better what works best.

Oh yes, also hinted at here: Make a large floor-to-ceiling window front in the kitchen and not just a small window. If you can live with the house not being completely symmetrical because of that

I still do not understand where there is supposed to be cloakroom space for 5 people?

Good evening everyone,

attached is our new floor plan. There are small changes. We are actually very satisfied. We will probably leave the kitchen as it is, but plan it as a "aircraft carrier." On the plan below, a side-by-side fridge will be placed against the wall in the kitchen. We like the new bathroom upstairs, as it will have no sloping ceilings. We are still considering where to put our bedroom... either as planned, or in Child 2’s room in the gable. That way, all the children would have the largest rooms. What do you think? The view of the entrance area is also particularly well done. The ugly bathroom window is finally gone. The west view is not so great. However, it is also difficult with the windows. What is your opinion?

The design flaws remain, the floor plans hide behind poor "readability" :-(
