I am also missing the dimensions of the floor plan. I doubt that this can become a platform staircase. The closet room has only limited space with normal ceiling height. I also cannot grasp what effects the 37 cm extension is supposed to have.

Hello SoL,

that's true, the draft simply has to be revised now and the costs just have to be finalized ;-)
I phrased the final implementation a bit awkwardly. I rather meant that I now need the revised version and costs in order to proceed with the financing. It seems like a good time right now; I firmly assume that interest rates will rise again to a higher level in May.
We are certainly still some way off from the final version...

According to the architect, we have used the 8m ridge height from the averaged terrain height.

Nearby there are some who have built with that stone, but usually also with "our" architect. Otherwise, of course, other stones are also used. Are there any experts here on this? Are there really such relevant differences that we should not build with pumice stone? The issue of water is naturally known, but it is unclear to what extent it really causes problems?

Hello kbt09

We are also missing the dimensions; we had to measure a lot from the 1:100 scale. I hope the next version from the architect will be more detailed here.
The 37cm widening is supposed to widen the passage next to the double bed as well as the entrance area behind the front door. Makes sense, right?

I happened to come across the post today. I'll take a look at it tomorrow. When is the appointment with the architect?

Hello hanghaus!

That would be nice! Try to call him tomorrow and arrange an appointment. There are surely still a few days left.

Regards

I have revised it again. The house can be at 499.5m and the carport as well. The storage room then with restricted ceiling height and/or somewhat lower. The path behind the storage room remains.

The carport (6*5m) has a 1 m roof overhang toward the street, which continues as a canopy up to the entrance.

The window in the WC should then face west.

The max. building height when rotating the house is 506.83m, which is 20 cm more knee wall (according to my calculation 1.7m at 30° roof pitch).

If the floor heights are reduced, there are a few more cm.

The reference height is the average of the 4 corner points of the house with the intersection of the original terrain. That is 498.83m + 8m (max. ridge height) in my example. In the draftsman's design it is 498.62m.

The cellar is only 1.1m exposed. The tower is then not so extreme anymore.

I'll say nothing about the floor plans, there are experts here for that.

Hello Hanghaus,

thank you very much for your support!
Just for understanding: do you refer to the dark blue area as the storage room? I really like the idea of the canopy towards the entrance, as well as the comments on the heights. It seems that a bit more knee wall can be “gained” compared to the architect’s design. I will gladly take that to the meeting.
Do you get the 20 cm by rotating, or do they also result from a perpendicular arrangement?

So you would still see the carport in the north with the arrangement of carport and house? Not like the architect designed it in the west (see attachment)? This would also result in changes in the basement, since the entrance to the basement is not possible as planned, right? How could an alternative basement entrance look and what do the heights from the basement towards the garden look like...

best regards
