Well then?… How are we supposed to know that? Expensive potato cellar… In your presentation it says living area, and that’s what you wanted an answer to. By the way, I don't find the path from carport/entrance too long. Those few meters shouldn't be overestimated.

That was the word recognition! Of course, _wohnbereit_, as it is written there, is meant.

On the one hand, it is indeed a waste to use the basement so unspecifically. On the other hand, the sack of planning eventually has to be closed, and for almost every achieved state, it would hold that it could always be done better. In this sense, I see it as sufficiently approaching the Pareto optimum to no longer aim for additional planning laps in pursuit of the last little bit of potential. Smaller operations like replacing the double door with single doors to the kitchen and living area, yes, but no more big barrels to open.

I also don’t find the path from garage/carport to the entrance too long but the way from the garage/carport to the kitchen is a bit long, on the other hand the fridge goes where you would plan the kitchen door. Therefore I am currently not sure if I will take this additional door.

Thank you, you put that nicely. :)

I agree with you, the basement is really planned nonspecifically. Normally, another room would have to be moved from the ground floor/upper floor to the basement and everything made a size smaller for that. I am still very satisfied.

I’m glad that you are still so satisfied, but that’s exactly what I wanted to say: now to overturn the whole thing to move half a room from each of the other two floors into the basement would of course be nonsense.

It is precisely in such examples that interested readers can perfectly see by example the essential difference it makes whether you start a planning process classically with an architect in service phase 1 (and thereby distribute a qualified room program in the cubature in service phase 2), or whether you simply smooth out an amateur planning (or template) with an “architect” to make it ready for submission (that is basically LP 4_to_4). In the end, with the construction of about twenty or thirty extra square meters, you pay for a fee “saving” that never ever reaches an approximately adequate scale. On balance, you have caused yourself an additional financing need because hopefully you will not try to “recover” that again with the external construction supervisor.

And really just to be safe (in case some Alpha Kevin reads this), it should be added: no, a redesign to a three-quarter basement would now be the biggest shot in the foot, and NOT a compensatory goal :)

I was talking about the line of sight. And yes, that is why I advised in #46 regarding the kitchen planning, and not just a placeholder.
