Good morning,

attached is the current status again. The following points are still on the agenda for further clarification before moving on to the further details:
- chimney through ridge
- door size bathroom
- exact wall arrangement upper floor
- slope design southeast
- roof overhang (here we would like to hear opinions again, visually it almost appears somewhat too generous)

best regards

Should these be spot-the-difference images, or just the same ones again?

Is this now finest irony, or denial of facts, to call a glaring planning error a "detail"?
What is the alpine roof overhang justified by?

Hello 11ant,
no, of course not. I just wanted to clearly present the current status again so that you don't have to jump through all the posts. The room sizes are also included.

maybe a bit poorly phrased, clarifying the listed points/planning errors BEFORE getting into the details.
There is no justification yet for the roof overhang, that's why I want to clarify it. I find the overhang towards the Southeast and Northwest okay; towards the Northeast and Southwest it can certainly be a bit smaller, I think?!

many greetings

But no door sizes, even though you specifically ask for them. The drawings would have sufficed as a source reference (see "post no. XY", or linked) – then no one would be looking for incorporated corrections. I still don’t see anything here that could go into details. Even at design scale, the drawings are qualitatively still preliminary drafts. And a roof overhang, insofar as it may not be symmetrical, is not a detail but an essential (to be clarified in service phase 1!!!). If I infer cost reliability from such planning deficiencies, it really makes me want to arm with a whip in advance, if you know what I mean ...

Ok, sorry. I promise to improve. As I said, the roof overhang is now next on the agenda to clarify. Regarding cost accuracy, I can only rely on the experiences of acquaintances; in no case were there increased costs compared to the planning.

You already said that – and I hope my amazement about it will still last when you do the final tally after completion.
