The problem is that there are too few teachers and caregivers in daycare centers with so many unemployed people. I also dealt with vocational school four years ago. Allegedly there is endless demand here. But supposedly no funds to fill the positions.

I can somewhat understand if you do substitute work, have to grade, etc. Although overtime is also common in other industries.

Everything somehow lags behind.

I was able to add in writing early on through dice games with my grandparents. In "math class" I only disturbed and was often kicked out. Math was the worst subject throughout my entire school time. Studied chemistry with a diploma and doctorate. Never had problems with mathematics, not even in theoretical chemistry. That's why I primarily criticize the system, rarely the teachers. And especially not THE teachers.

But when I read that the amount of pain and suffering compensation is supposed to be burnout prophylaxis... (exaggeratedly formulated)

if you want to earn the salary that teachers get in the private sector, overtime is part of the daily routine. I simply cannot understand people complaining about it. After all, teachers know what they are getting into with their career choice and that the oh-so-annoying parent evenings are included. In my opinion, only nurses and doctors should complain. Because they are paid far too little for the hours they work and the responsibility they carry.

I find it totally interesting how especially male peers always mix this up: If you earn well, you are not allowed to complain about working conditions – and as a civil servant, even less so.
As if you could compensate the daily strain (which, by the way, is often not comprehensible from the outside, but that is another matter) with money. That is such a, such a, such a wrong approach!

@Allessandro Michelin-star chefs work up to 80 hours a week, don’t complain, don’t burn out.

Teachers work less than 80 hours/week, complain, burn out quickly.

Earnings similar.

If you understand why this is so, you are one step further.
If not, you are illustrating the problem I am actually talking about.

When I read the texts you produce here, I also know what "no resources" means in German...
