The whole family could have benefited from that right away; and yet they always say kids these days don’t learn a proper trade anymore :D
Somehow I don’t understand your intention behind this statement..

Nothing mean was meant by that, when reading it, it was just suddenly such a strange idea for me among all the discussions about salary, quality and alleged laziness of teachers etc., which is why I wanted to say that the children, despite all the apparently poorly rated teaching, at least learn something really meaningful for life at least once.I somehow don’t understand your intention behind this statement..

I did that as a parent representative. Principal says: * I can't get overtime approved by the staff council * I lack the funds for digitalization, still have to apply for them * Giving devices to children without financial resources is difficult, funds are missing * Presence classes on Saturday? Not possible for civil servants How are you supposed to help there, every help or discussion is shut down. I also don't believe that will change in the next 10 years. The pandemic goes around and we go back to the same old mode againAs says. But: Very German discussion. You give the most valuable thing you have, namely your children, to the school. From the employees there, you hear some negative things about the conditions and therefore complaints about the work. Normal people there like: "Oh, our children are there and something is not right, let's check and demand improvements." The German there like: "Why are they complaining? Lots of vacation, good pay, I have the same problems and don’t complain either."
The troll thread is once again bringing a lot of activity to this forum - I wonder who is behind it?!
