Everything you say is true and I could add a dozen more items to the list.

But this does not grow on the teachers' nonsense nor on the principals'.

Do you think school would be the way it is if the people on site could do as they saw fit?

Edit: Getting extra work approved by the staff council means the extra work that is officially recorded and must be paid for, which is then binding. Hidden extra work that committed staff simply do on their own always works. But not in the timetable, that is official.

I’m all for schools teaching more about things like finances, taxes, or general nutrition and their consequences!
Many kids nowadays don’t even know where milk comes from or how to calculate a 25% discount at H&M after 10th grade!!! To me and for the future, that’s negligent!

I know what you mean, but that really sounds funny. :D Calculating discounts at H&M - a way of life!

As a student, I was already puzzled that many classmates only wanted to know how to press the unnecessary % button on the calculator when doing percentage calculations. The minor detail with the hundredth was irrelevant or too complicated for them...

Yes, I had already written something as well. But these are actually the real-life applications ;) Although I tend to put taxes and the like more into the upper business school or another advanced one. Parents should also be able to contribute something ;)
