Absolutely! Even just for the opportunity to spend time together. My children are growing up with a grandma, just like I did. Everything else was prevented by an untimely death.

What do you mean bread AND water? That's why ours isn't growing anymore.... Well, then you just say that the project isn't working, many have already done that. You don't touch (child planning) and you have no say in it. You can do that with the gossip circle at the regulars' table or write it in the diary, but you don't tell anyone. Otherwise, you might as well apply to Xi as Minister of Family.

95% of the people here told the OP exactly that, and he himself realized it and is now looking around further. Where’s the problem? No reason to be intrusive and butt into other people’s family planning. 6000 net plus, prospectively, the woman’s income. And for 3000 in installments you can surely still get a slice of cheese to put on the bread. The fact that you would only bring children into the world if you could offer them material things and riding lessons again shows a very sad psyche. The things my kid enjoys most in the world cost absolutely nothing. Not a cent. And the things he enjoys second most – TutTut cars can be gotten used for 3€ if needed. :P And yes – I know that when they get older they won’t be satisfied with TutTuts anymore. But the difference is that you can see the problems, or solutions. And I would rather tell my kids every now and then “Sorry, we can’t fulfill this wish, we can’t afford it,” than tell them nothing at all because they don’t exist.

what? These are the conditions! For me, there are only chestnuts and toothpicks. At 14, he can then fetch the toothpicks himself from the kitchen cabinet.

I would advise the OP to actually try rigorous saving. Not necessarily because the case will then be more worthwhile, but to see how severe the restrictions are in perception. And looking better off doesn’t hurt when the next interesting opportunity comes along, even if, miraculously, interest rates are suddenly back at 2%.

But one must not forget that 3k per installment does not equal 3k for living expenses. I think ancillary costs for an older existing property should not be underestimated. Starting next month, we alone will pay 400€ for electricity and we live in a 145sqm new semi-detached house with energy efficiency class A+. o_O

What do you use the electricity for?
Here we have 6 people in a 200sqm building from 1930 and pay 300€ for gas and 170€ for electricity – per sqm we are even cheaper than you. Something doesn’t add up, does it?
