This double garage - can you even manage that budget-wise? What is it supposed to look like? It says self-performed work - I have my doubts about that.

The garage will take its time, we are aware of that. However, we have people in the (nahen und weiteren) environment who have also built their own garages and have offered their help, and I am also skilled at handiwork myself. We have set the budget based on research and experience, and that should be achievable at least in the medium term. Ultimately, you never know what will happen during construction. But the garage is a component I cannot/will not do without, although I can wait for it. The structure of the garage is planned to be: 9.00*6.50m. Continuous sectional door and at the back a separate area for storage options as well as a small workbench and a hand washbasin. The roof will be a shed roof on top.

We also built our workshop afterwards. However, it stands free. I have no idea about this, but I always imagine adding an extra building later is difficult, especially the roof attachment and the floor slab / foundation. We had the latter poured right away. I would recommend that to you too, as it will be hell and not good for the house to dig and shake so close.

Oh, by the way, in case I haven't mentioned it at the beginning, the floor slab for the garage is included in the house price and will be done directly. I also said that I definitely don't want any experiments with a building that is directly attached to the house. Not that a subsequent foundation then sinks after all, settles differently, or something like that.

Is the staircase now realistic as used it, or can it not be used that way?

No. You can paint them one after the other, but you have to plan them as a whole; i.e. not finish drawing one floor first and then realize that the one above doesn’t fit on that footprint, so: . As if I had suspected it...
