Well, I don't have to do that. I just have to make sure that it really is Zirbe... ;)

Regarding the stove, I'm still quite uncertain, the Sentiotec Home Combi is the one I like best and is affordable for us. But now I'm stuck on the control system.
Do I have to use a control system from Sentiotec, or do I have the whole range of manufacturers available as long as they support the steam function and the oven's power?

A nice-to-have would be integration into KNX or control via app and connection to IP-Symcon, but that stuff is outrageously expensive.

What I would definitely like, though, is a timer so the sauna can heat up before you get home.

Can anyone say something about that or have recommendations? Lead time?

to be able to smell, it is important to smell the scent for some time beforehand, then decide. If possible, give or send a sample piece

We have an app and can start the sauna via the phone if needed. We imagined it to be great. In reality, we have never used it so far. When we come from somewhere and want to go to the sauna, we turn it on immediately when we enter. By the time we have undressed, put away our stuff, and showered, it is usually already nicely warm. It doesn't make sense for the thing to be hot for half an hour before you go in. So in the future, I would really rethink whether I need that.

Our stove is called EOS Thermo-Tec, the control unit is EOS Emotec D and H, and the sauna control module for the APP is EOS WCI-01
However, without steam function – we can only pour water on the stones.

Ok, thanks. I kind of suspected that already, plus the security aspect shouldn't be underestimated. In the KNX forum, it is actually strongly advised against controlling the sauna via the bus, because legally it's also a bit of a matter... Then there's also the issue of the preset time, that's kind of a thing too ^^

We cannot turn it on via app and remotely, because that would put pressure on ourselves. For us, it has become routine, Sauna on, 1/2-1 hour walk, Sauna

With us, it is the same as with Climbee. The sauna is fully heated in about 20 minutes, so we have only used the remote start twice for testing. In the sauna, I only connected lighting and sensors to KNX. I did not want the stove there. Regarding Swiss pine, you really have to like the smell. Our holiday home in Austria is also built with a lot of Swiss pine inside, so it was clear to us right away that we also wanted Swiss pine in the residential house (but not too much). Of course, Swiss pine also grows in South Tyrol and in France and Switzerland. It only grows above 1600m, which makes it hard to get any from Germany, but it is possible. Regarding the control system, you are free as long as you don’t need a power switching device, because communication between the controller and the load device usually runs over a dedicated bus.
