I will probably finish the interior cladding today and then want to start the exterior. I would rather start from the bottom. Is there any objection to the groove on the exterior wall facing upwards? There isn’t, right?

Nope. I would do it the way I like it or that works best.

No no, it should be horizontal, like inside... ;) I'm done now. Can't wait for it to be finished. :D

The chairs don't look very comfortable ... :D But for about a 15-minute sauna session, it should be fine ;)
Make sure they don't bring them along with jackets!

Unfortunately, I’m stuck now, the timber merchant gave me too few profile claws.

I think I need another 2 days for the rest of the cabin.
I still have to build the frame for the inspection opening and then cover everything up.
After that, I can start with the bench construction, I already have the wood for that.

The bench slats etc. should actually be delivered before Christmas; the current status is that it will first be shipped from Estonia next week.

There were also huge delays with the sauna stove, it will be shipped by the end of January. After 2 cancellations due to unknown delivery times, I’m now at the 3rd dealer...

On Monday, I’ll call the glazier to come early for the measurements. But I only want it installed once I’m completely finished inside; otherwise, it will just be in the way.

My plan is to be finished by the end of February/beginning of March, we’ll see if that works out. I’m not so sure about that, since I can really only work properly on Saturdays now.
