The woman was quick, it must have been a pretty dirty job. Due to the lack of suitable tools for cutting the wood fiber insulation boards, it looks a bit rustic, but the end justifies the means. ;)
I also installed the ventilation, good thing I tested the fan, otherwise I would have installed it the wrong way around. :)
The vapor barrier is coming tomorrow, from Monday on the cladding will start.
I have to work again the week after next, by then I want to be finished, provided the circular saw arrives on time.

I realize that we have almost the same door handles :)

Continued success! I'm already a bit jealous ... ;)

Hello Great job and nice that you document this here so thoroughly. I have already "bookmarked" the thread so I know what to watch out for once I start mine...

What kind of insulation is that? "Normal" insulation made of mineral wool is usually cut with an insulation knife (or just a bread knife  ), the thinner ones up to 8cm also work well with a cutter with a long and fresh blade. To me, it looks more like foam in the pictures? Does the insulation not have to be especially heat-resistant?

This is wood fiber insulation. In private construction, it is often built completely diffusion-open, meaning without a vapor barrier. However, I did not dare to do that.

I have a question: I attach the vapor barrier with a stapler. Do I then have to cover the staples with the aluminum tape, or can I skip that?
