New chapter in the never-ending story with the shop in Estonia, where I ordered some parts for the sauna and paid with Paypal:

After initially having massive problems with the shop regarding the delivery, I opened a case with Paypal.
In the further course, the order was delivered to me, but it was the wrong sauna control unit.
I then modified the buyer protection request in the Paypal case so that I only want my money back for the control unit; of course, I would be happy to return the wrong control unit, provided the seller covers the shipping costs.

Since they somehow had no clue what they were doing, they then offered me a full refund if I sent everything back. I would have to cover the shipping costs.
Ok, so I only sent back the control unit and communicated that I want my money for it (about 30% of the total amount).
I got the return shipping costs refunded by Paypal (by the way, a great offer).

Now over the weekend, the seller contacted me by email (not via the Paypal case) saying that the control unit had arrived and they wanted to refund me the amount via Paypal.
But I should first close the case because they couldn’t reimburse me as long as the case was not closed.
I therefore wrote back to the seller that I wouldn’t do that because otherwise, I would have no security. They should get in touch with Paypal to find a solution. There was no more reaction after that.

It all seemed suspicious to me, so I asked Paypal. They confirmed it and strongly advised me not to close the case BEFORE I got my money back.

Nothing has come from the seller since then. Now the deadline expired today and I have been refunded the full amount of the order by Paypal. :D

What does that mean for me now?
I have no problem paying for the goods received, but I don’t see why I should constantly deal with the mismanagement of this shambles, which is why I tend to keep quiet.
I really did everything to avoid hindering a smooth process.

How does this continue now? Am I now obliged to contact the seller?

Has anyone ever had such a problem?

The glazier only gave me March 18th as the delivery date. So it will still take a while until we can heat up... Anyway.

Thanks!

Isn't it nice to sit on the longer side of the lever once in a while? And in the beautiful sauna, too...? Wommmm..... The seller must/will present you with his demand (or not) and you will respond to it and pay it if it is correct.

Additionally, tools amounting to €650. The main items there are the miter saw and the circular saw. I can't say the cost of the glass front yet, but it should be well estimated at around €450.

You may subtract the fun of planning and building and must not include it in engineering hours.
