Aha... that looks really neat and plans on the wall. With me, it would already be chaos.... good, that will be nice!

It's slowly starting to look like a cabin inside the house. It's going relatively well. The recess gave me a hard time, but it’s alright. I'm not a carpenter after all... I already tried sitting in it, the view outside is great. :)

Great, you can not only draw and plan in 3D but also build. The drawing is missing the knot of the oven cable, which was also not tied by a sailor.

So, one more milestone, the frame is finished. :) The little things really held me up again, the most challenging for me was the small box for the control panel. The idea came to me last night that I could make such a mounting from the leftover reveal wood. Getting it like this was already a challenge for me. It looks crappy from the back, mainly because I don't have a suitable saw to cut it in one go. Unfortunately, I only realized that a cut was necessary after I had already screwed the box together. But I didn’t want to take it apart anymore because I was afraid that the already short screws would strip and it would warp. Of course, it can always be done better, but I think it’s presentable. The frame is flush on the outside, inside it should not be visible, hence the cut. While writing these lines, it just occurred to me that the frame is not finished yet. I forgot the mount for the ceiling spot over the stove... :D Tomorrow my wife will start with the insulation, she can contribute something there too. So far, she has been covering for me and taking care of the kids.
