.....WOW, so the ultimate goal has been reached. I think that's three levels above a professorship. Looks great, you would definitely have signed it like that before. I'll get in touch when it's my turn.......the sauna.

Have you ever sat on the bench at the same time as your wife, static or something?
But it looks great

Go ahead, one hand washes the other... ;) But only planning assistance, not execution. :D

Yes, absolutely no problem.
Three of us already sat on it when only the frame was finished. The slats made it considerably more stable.
We’ll skip the foot, then you can easily sweep out, since the entire floor is virtually free.

Hi, a suggestion for the corners: simply shorten the strips a bit, then do not press the corners tightly together but slightly round off the mitered corners and then reattach them with a few millimeters of distance (using the same screws in the same holes). The distance then looks like a shadow gap and small unavoidable inaccuracies are not noticeable. Alternatively, glue the strips tightly at the miter before final assembly and connect them invisibly, concealed, or alternatively "nicely." Then mount them. There are plenty of YouTube videos for "nice" stable corner joints (biscuit joints, finger joints, etc.).

Cool, thanks for the tip. This could work.
