The pipe is the access to the covered "chambers": We even built an extension at the garden shed for that. The roof of the garden shed still needs to be retiled. But the critters live outside all year round and can come and go whenever they want. A few weeks ago, I was searching intensively for one of them. I even lay on the ground in the enclosure with an endoscope and searched the tunnels – without success (the postman can confirm!). We already thought it had died underground somewhere or even escaped. After 5 days, it turned up again. In the "chambers," they even have an area with underfloor heating for very cold days/nights. However, I had to realize that the rabbits feel quite comfortable even in the snow and at minus 20 °C.

The glazier was just here!

Door + window cost 250€ + tax. In addition, there’s about 50€ labor. ;)

This afternoon there will still be some cleaning and the thermo-/hygrometer + hourglass still need to be installed, then the first heating will be done tonight. :D

Do I need to pay attention to anything during the first heating?

Nope. ...although....chill a bottle of sparkling wine. The great project wishes to be celebrated appropriately!

Prosecco is already chilled, but there are always one or two bottles in the cooler anyway. Besides, I like that stuff too much... :D
