I strongly assume that we no longer have reception in the house around the corner, as the interior walls are made of 17.5 cm KS. The signal will not get through there. At the moment, I am using mobile reception as a reference. At the windows, just barely Edge network, and inside no network at all.

So I have an access point and what I noticed is that I still have Wi-Fi reception about 5-6m around the house.... so everything is great .. and sometimes less is maybe more ;-)

It can be so different. We currently live in a 110 sqm apartment with about 65 sqm of living/dining/kitchen area, then the hallway and behind that the bedroom and children's room. Hallway and bedroom are about 2m apart, access point in the hallway. Result zero reception in the bedroom. At 2m distance.

In the sense of a Buddhist attitude towards life, maybe. From a purely technical perspective certainly not, although it must be said that the sheer number is not the only criterion, but of course also positioning, orientation, choice of channel, etc.

Maybe you should think about your access point. Unless you have steel walls, there should be reception at 2m distance.

You really can’t say that so generally from personal experience. Best example: In my mother’s house there is almost no reception from around the basement ceiling upwards. If you move even just to the level of the ceiling or even below, you are rewarded with excellent values. And the house is from the 60s with only 18 cm basement ceiling.
