I thought the problem with drywall was the metal stud framework, which acts like a Faraday cage.
That bound water is also problematic didn't occur to me...

Everything is annoying with WLAN, it always seems to be the solution for everything. If you deal with the subject a bit more, you notice that quite a few hurdles come your way. But everything is doable. Siebe Rick. Just more access points :) which is by no means wrong if it solves the problem.

More APs only work if there are network sockets everywhere anyway :) But many have at least a double socket in every room, so there is nothing standing in the way of placing an access point in every room. I don't even want to talk about the radiation then.

Large potted plants, mirrors, and refrigerators are also often difficult.

As long as you have DECT phones, you don't need to worry about WiFi radiation. With multiple APs, you can also reduce the transmission power because you have homogeneous coverage. With few APs, this is not the case ;) Most APs belong on the ceiling. Just plan that right from the start when doing new construction.

Well :-) The more APs, the more radiation. Just because you use something that already emits a lot doesn't mean you have to add even more. But that's another topic. Yes, you should plan it during house construction. Most people who worry about WiFi are those who don't have tons of network outlets. For example, I didn't have them installed in every room either because the prices were just too outrageous. Sure, you could have done it yourself, but the idea only came up after the plastering was done, so it was too late. But I have one outlet upstairs and ran cables from there to the PCs myself. And with our mesh system, we manage well.
