When I read that I had to smile a bit. Because when I remember, it comes to mind how I sat with Grandpa on New Year's and watched ski jumping in Garmisch with him in black and white. At Grandpa's, because my parents didn't have a TV due to lack of money yet. - And I learn that nowadays husbands have Xboxes in the garage. I actually assign those devices in my imagination to teenagers. - Well, panta rei, they said in ancient times.
My husband collects consoles. His music collection is stored on his very old Xbox. When he works in the garage (which is also his workshop), he listens to music through it. We still have 2 Xboxes lying in the attic. So far, I refuse to put them up as decoration. The only console that is actually used actively is the Playstation. Obviously for gaming, but primarily as a Blu-ray player. Since my husband has to use the Playstation's headphones because of his hearing aid, he also streams through it. So no, nothing anymore just for teenagers
