I understand your feedback on the office issue in terms of content, but for me it is really not an issue. This is the space where I spend the most time overall, maybe 70-80 hours per week. So for this, which might even be the most important space for me, I don’t want a makeshift solution, but rather to design it so that I a) feel comfortable and b) can work optimally. I understand that in theory money and space could be saved here, but I simply don’t want that. I am happy to invest money here because it gives me a significant increase in quality of life and is also important for professional success. I have no studies on this, only my own experience. I don’t have 100 clients on a waiting list so that I can just sort out the bad ones and only work with the good ones. Of course, this can be discussed, but it is something that does not help me personally. I would actually like to talk about the house and not the job. We had also considered the designation as a "commercial space" or similar, but that would mean that additional visitor parking spaces would have to be created, so unfortunately that doesn’t help us either.

I think I've seen you write that quite a few times now? For psychological reasons, I would simply leave out the "last" – life is better with solutions :) What does the general contractor/architect say about the parking dilemma? He should have known the regulations, right?

The recommendation was to submit the building permit application with only the garage and apply for an exemption permit, and if this is (as expected) rejected, to mark dummy parking spaces somewhere during a revision planning. Based on experience, this is usually not checked afterwards. Whether, if it is checked, I would then be forced to actually build the parking spaces, or whether alternatives like a fee payment or legal action are still possible, could not be told to me.

That's not funny. o_O You disregard the development plan and let this seep through here after 12 pages. I immediately thought that the busy main road is hardly suitable for the entrance. But to ignore the fact that there are public parking spaces and to keep this quiet here??? That's pretty harsh. If I were at the building authority, I would now have a very long lever. Shaking my head. But to sue against the parking space statute. Is that really an architect? Hard to believe.

I think this is a misunderstanding. There is a parking lane all around the entire property. A public parking space has to be removed anyway; otherwise, our property would not be accessible. That is also known. The planned spot is even the best for this because the driveway from the neighboring property is directly adjacent. So if we are not supposed to drop off our cars by helicopter, it can't be done any other way...

If you are already arguing with them, you can be almost certain that a note will be added to the files and an inspection will be carried out (eventually). You don't even have to be at home for that. At some point, a letter will end up in the mailbox.
