Yes, the construction company. I'm not sure about that, I will ask again. However, since we would save at most one parking space, the fundamental problem would still remain.

Madness, considering that we want to avoid sealing in Germany.

How much space is there in front of the garage? Could another parking space possibly be "created" on paper there by narrowing the access road in the building application for the double garage?

Tactically, the community must pretend as if the sale of indulgences is only Plan B. No one here really wants a fifth parking space.

Sure. But there is the theoretical risk that it will be built anyway.

There remains the option of using such green grass grids and later adding another layer of soil on top.

But for a family of 3, a 200sqm place is also a lot. If a fourth one comes along, in 18 years there will already be 4 cars in front of the door + visitors. From that perspective, I find the idea from the office quite good. The argument about selling is an additional point. For us, one parking space was mandatory... Now the green strip is simply used... If you can even call it that anymore. Show a site plan. With 900sqm, you could probably fudge something somewhere. By the way, I’m in favor of idea 1. Just do it... It also states for us that a roof for the terrace may be a maximum of 3m long, but 36m wide. Here, nobody submitted an application; they just built 3.5m-6m and that was it.

I see it the same way, because: Here in our "village", a house built 10 years ago in a building gap with two other families (the last house was built around 1980), there is 1 garage per old house. The "old" residents are slowly but surely dying off (that's just how it is), young families come in and suddenly the street gradually gets filled with parked cars. The bus drivers are always "happy" when cars are parked on both sides even at the same level. In the detached/semi-detached housing estates, it is not uncommon for the first vehicles to stand on the street because the garage is filled with junk.
