Neato Botvac d85

Hello, how is it looking now? Who still uses it daily? Is the laser navigation any good? Is GPS navigation better? How loud is it? Has anyone already used an alternative?

Hello, yes, our Robi is still in daily use. Cleaning result: I am still satisfied with the cleaning result. Emptying the vacuum / cleaning the filter is a bit annoying. Control: I can't say anything about that, at least nothing negative. Noise level: It only runs when no one is at home. Otherwise, it is quite loud. But not louder than a normal vacuum cleaner. Alternatives: None tested.

Hello,

yes, our D85-Robi is still in daily use.

Cleaning result: I am still satisfied with the cleaning result.

Control: Works mostly flawlessly.

Noise level: It only runs here when no one is at home. Otherwise, it is quite loud. But not louder than a normal vacuum cleaner.

Alternatives: None tested.

I actually wanted to wait for the Dyson Eye 360. But that apparently is the BER among the vacuum robots...

What are the long-term experiences with robotic vacuum cleaners and house tigers? We have 4 pet tigers, and quite a lot of fur accumulates. Especially during the morning wrestling, there are literally feathers flying. Since even the Vorwerk Kobold had problems with the many hairs in the brushes, I have some doubts whether a robotic vacuum cleaner will last long with that? They are all short-haired cats.

We have short-haired cats (a mix of Siamese and Norwegian), so pretty fine hair/soft. The Vorwerk or certainly also the partially identical N. handles it well. Due to the amount of hair, the dirt container fills up quickly, but otherwise hair tufts fly around here, so it's fine.

Now I have to ask ... Siamese = short hair; clear. Norwegian very much and partly long fur. Does the combination really result in short hair? Since I have a Norwegian and a Maine Coon, I can confirm that their fur is no problem for a Vorwerk. Building expert on the go
