We have a Dyson DC Animal Pro and a large Vorwerk on every floor. We are very satisfied with the combination. But a [Vorwerkrobby] should also move in at some point.

After a week in use, I come to the conclusion that it was a good idea. I timed myself over the weekend and thoroughly vacuumed only the upper floor (except for the bathroom, everything is carpeted) with the large Kobold: 45 minutes went by, and I can hardly get under the beds as well as the Mini can.

We do not have a cordless vacuum cleaner and will not be getting one for the time being. Each floor has a “large” vacuum cleaner and now a shared Wall-E.

For now, that is completely sufficient.

A central system was never an option for us. However, acquaintances have one and find it great. We were absolutely not enthusiastic. I would have preferred to plan the laundry chute to the utility room.

I think the trend is really moving towards small helpers and then just a regular vacuum cleaner. Whether this will be cordless or still with a cable remains to be seen. Of course, you imagine the cordless vacuum to be a bit more convenient, but it might also be more expensive in the same performance segment. Regarding the central system, for me it’s also the issue that I have a long hose that I have to drag around. Then, as you already said, rather a laundry chute in the utility room. Since I still have some time regarding the small helper, I am very curious about your long-term tests and evaluations.

A central vacuum system was not an option for us. Because even with that, I still have to vacuum myself...

Yes, that anyway Björn, I meant now in addition to the vacuum cleaner itself.

Oh

However, that would be quite an expensive addition. A cordless vacuum would do then as well.
