Vacuum Robot Vorwerk Kobold VR200 / VR100

A brief note about our robot experience. We tested some iRobots, all of which were eliminated because they all bump into things.
I can only warmly recommend you to take a look at LG, they operate much quieter and detect their obstacles using ultrasound, and they also have a logic when vacuuming and don’t do it randomly. Oh, and not to forget, they also cost less...

The LGs have a reputation for often not finding their charging station again. Especially if it is located in another room, but the bot has also departed from the station. Is that true? What is it about the large open area that the charging station requires in order for the docking process to work? Price-wise, the latest models are certainly not much cheaper than others. However, they are very stylish.

Mh. we only did that twice with driving off and then left the door open for other rooms, but it worked. Normally it is carried from room to room and then beeps when it is done. Regarding the free space, I really can't complain. We have a dresser right in front of it, which is placed diagonally in the corner, without it causing any problems. Sometimes it shifts the station a bit, then backs up and tries again and then it works. Yes, the new ones are a bit more intense but don't cost 700 - 800€ like iRobot super duper.....

My IRobot cost me about 350 back then. In front of a dresser sounds like a lot of open space. Otherwise, carrying it around is pointless for us.

Just a small tip for bargain hunters: at myrobotcenter the Naeto devices are even cheaper than last week until tomorrow
