Uh, I don't know what means by "per Laser." If you want to exclude an area with the VR200, you can do this either by placing an obstacle (rather cumbersome), closing the door, or using a strip that you place on the floor. Regards, Dirk

I think means that, as I also read, the Vorwerk measures or orients the room using a laser. It is also stated that after the Vorwerk has recharged itself, it starts again where it left off. This only works if the device remembers the waypoints (route), and that will probably work using the laser. You can apparently also program paths (areas). At least that's what I read on the manufacturer's website.

Mmh, the obstacle method also works with the Roomba. And can this strip be adjusted flexibly or is it fixedly glued?

Hello ,

the magnetic tape of the VR 200 lies loose on the floor and can be removed again at any time without leaving any residue.

It even works if you place it under a carpet up to a maximum thickness of 1 cm.

Regards,

Dirk

Ah ok, then it's just as flexible as with the light barriers on the Roomba.

Yes, that's what I meant. I didn’t think I needed to explain it further since it’s well described on Vorwerk’s homepage.
