Hi RFR,

this model has already been mentioned here several times and I’m looking forward to a somewhat longer test from you
Something like that is always more meaningful than all the tests you’ve seen or read somewhere.

Are the system sounds really as annoying as I’ve read more than once?

Do you possibly also have an indication of how the little guy handles rocking chairs or maybe even a pen or toy lying on the floor?

Regards Andreas

After 6 months of use with our Kobold, we are still very satisfied.
By now, it runs exclusively on carpet in the upper floor and we only use the large Kobold on weekends to vacuum the corners that the robot cannot reach due to various objects or furniture.

A suction mop recently moved into the ground floor.
After careful consideration, we decided against the Vorwerk. The Vorwerk works with a damp cloth, which must be moistened before use and changed to a new cloth after about 20 sqm.

The Philips hard floor cleaner Aqua Trio plus works with two rollers, a fresh water tank and a dirty water tank of 70 ml each.
Cost of the device: from €370. Cost of the rollers (according to the manufacturer every 6 months): €35.00.

The fresh water tank can be used without cleaning agent or with a non-foaming agent.
I use half a teaspoon of vinyl floor cleaner for the vinyl and black soap for the tiles.
It works wonderfully, is fast and the tanks are emptied and refilled in no time.
One tank fill is enough for almost 50 sqm.
The device stands in a plastic tray that is part of the self-cleaning mechanism: pour 300 ml of fresh water into the tray and turn on the device at the same time. The cleaner pulls the water through the rollers and cleans the rollers after each wipe.
Cleaning is now as easy as vacuuming and our floors shine streak-free! The vinyl now has a nice, slightly silky sheen.

That sounds very good. If it really becomes vinyl with us, one can consider something like that!

The Philips Trio hard floor cleaner. I struggled with myself for a long time. I tried the Vorwerk VR200 robot vacuum cleaner -> it was not really an option for me due to its lack of orientation (vacuum Alzheimer). Then I had the Vorwerk wet vacuum cleaner. In my opinion, it just smears the dirt around with the same cloth that is only wetted. I can gladly report about the Philips once it has been tested on Monday.
