So I don't understand the high praise for Vorwerk either. I have two Samsung Navibots - each for 200 euros and I am very satisfied. And I already find 200€ to be a lot of money.

I did not praise highly, but compared. For different situations, there are different sufficient vacuums. Everyone must see for themselves that it works for them.

I did not want to personally attack anyone here about their own opinions/experiences. I just noticed that out of over 140 messages, almost only the Vorwerk is praised. Although there are other top solutions. Of course, this does not include the Vileda for 80€.

The Vorwerk is probably often praised because it delivers a very good overall result. However, it is really not an inexpensive device, as many of the installed, admittedly very useful, components (and of course also the name) simply cost money.

Since everyone has their own preferences and expectations regarding the performance of a vacuum robot, there will probably never be "the perfect device" for everyone.

I think it is similar to cars. For one person, the comfort and performance of a Porsche Cayenne are worth at least EUR 67,000.00, while another is happy with their Dacia Duster for at least EUR 10,700...

Therefore, everyone should be free to decide which vacuum robot suits them.

Dirk

Very well explained, Doc.

I chose the Vorwerk because of good experiences on my grandmother’s and mother’s sides.

I also found the concept of trying it out for 30 days great.

Hello everyone,

we received our Robi (Naeto Botvac D85) on Friday (after the post office finally opened) and first charged it. On Saturday morning, we sent it on a test run through our hallway and the living/dining/kitchen area. Meanwhile, we actually wanted to have breakfast, but we were so fascinated by the device that we almost didn’t get around to it. The 70 m² area we let it loose on was vacuumed to our satisfaction after about an hour. On Sunday, we set it loose upstairs. There we first watched intently to see if it wouldn’t fall down the open staircase. After it managed this well too, we were able to have a relaxed breakfast while it continued working.

Interim conclusion: Very satisfied so far.

This morning was the first scheduled cleaning. I'm curious if everything worked when I come home this evening.
