I have a Vorwerk vr100 and am very satisfied with it. The costs were around 600 euros. With cheap parts, I would be careful. Before you struggle with poor quality, I wouldn't buy a robot vacuum at all. You should spend 400 to 600 euros.

Hi, I also own a Vorwerk VR 200 and am very pleased with its performance. Initially, there was the usual freestanding problem, which we solved with a bumper extension from Ebay (Robobumper). Maybe this will help someone with their decision.

Our little goblin VR200 will move in November. Delivery times are currently very long. The plan is to use it on the ground floor. The big goblin already vacuums the upper floor.....Vorwerk has been a very good decision so far. The Roomba was also in close consideration. However, it is not cheaper either when properly equipped. Dobby....the name is very fitting.

Hello,

we are currently considering giving a second VR200 a home. )

Of course, it is no problem to carry the vacuum robot from the ground floor to the top floor and start it - it only becomes problematic if it does not finish the top floor with the first battery charge.

Then you have to carry it back to the ground floor and recharge it, which causes it to forget where it has already cleaned on the top floor - in case of doubt, it will never finish, unless you place it individually in the rooms and close the door.

Regards,

Dirk

The problem should actually be solved by a second charging station on the upper floor. We also bought one for our Roomba. It works perfectly.

: Good idea - sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees...
