Our Philips was in use today at my mother-in-law's. We were a bit shocked by the contents of the dirty water tank. 25 years of cleaning with a scrub brush and cloth were mercilessly beaten in a very short time. The result is impressive. I am curious to see what you think of it, Sylvia.

So, so I always thought of myself as a tidy woman who regularly mopped her floors......

But today the Philips Aquario arrived.
We have only lived in the house for 3 years!
The brown bathroom tiles look like they were just laid after cleaning. The lighter pattern in dark brown can be seen again just like on the first day.
I don't want to talk about the color of the dirty water.

First conclusion:

You are by no means faster than with a mop. It only makes sense to scrub the edges about 5 cm wide with a scrubber first and then do the area with the device. But the cleanliness, hmm.
Then the device also needs some care.

I have someone very critical living here. "If the thing is no good or a maintenance case like the VR200 -> immediately return it!" was the instruction.
This someone is currently busy with the device in the tiled basement workshop and has already determined the permanent place for it. The kitchen has also already been done, without even being asked.

Well, astonishing.

In a few weeks I will surely report on the long-term test at 230 sqm.

Many thanks for the tip Eve.

This is about robots and not manual handheld vacuum cleaners, or have I missed something?

Is there a good mopping robot?

The thread has expanded over the last few weeks. However, I recently saw a video on QVC presenting a mopping robot. I am not convinced by it, as it works with a cloth that apparently cannot be properly wetted, and the cloth should also be changed constantly.

: Glad my tip is so well received.

Please do not call the device a robot.
