Smart ideas that make everyday life easier to install in the house

We had an intercom system for the front door installed on the upper floor.

Otherwise:

Central control per floor and timer with astro function for all roller shutters
Each room with at least 2 x Sat and LAN
Sat and LAN in the garage
Heating and controlled residential ventilation controllable via internet/app
Garage door controllable from inside
Power preparation in the garden
Water connection in the garage
Oven and elevated above the dishwasher (you need to access the dishwasher more often than the oven)
Bathroom mirror with heating

What we forgot:

Socket at the front door inside and outside
Roller shutter at the glass element next to the front door
Here and there a socket

Personal atmosphere is neither measurable nor comparable in a savings or insulation model on a rational basis. That makes it intangible for some people

And some people like to impose their personal taste on others. Either you like a fireplace or you don’t. That should be the decisive criterion for installing one. Technically, both are possible without any restrictions.
