You once opened a thread here where you demonized the controlled residential ventilation - however, as so often, nothing came of it afterwards...

Now it is being praised to the skies without experience - is it allowed to question the change of mind?

It does make sense, but it also costs a pretty good amount of money.

I don't know if it can work without that, using some DIY solutions like window rebate ventilators or exhaust systems, but oh well, we'll just install the controlled residential ventilation and be happy that we don't have to air out several times a day and that the laundry dries in no time.

We will also make sure that there are enough cleaning options available.

Maybe we should also install it ourselves? By the way, what did you actually pay including or excluding the unit?

Around 7,000-7,500 euros, but I still get 1,000 euros funding from the state. However, it is also the large system from Helios including Enphaltietauscher with a total of 16 outlets. How you want to pay attention to "genug Reinigungsmöglichkeiten" is beyond me - sounds more like hot air.

We want to use round, smooth inside pipes instead of (also smooth) flat ducts and I believe one then builds, similar to the heating circuit distributor in the upper floor, an inspection opening, so that if you ever need to blow through or clean with a rotating brush, the ducts are not too long.

A laundry chute was also very popular with me. However, we would have had to do without the heat cabin or the chair in the main bathroom. My husband did not agree with either the redesign of the bathroom or the costs (we built without personal contribution). The wall tiles look familiar to me, Kisska.

The pipes are always smooth and no inspection opening is installed, because it is a star and not a tree - you always clean from the distributor.
