Please explain that in more detail!

How many children do you have and how old are they?

You seem to be missing something

Yes. True. A clear statement from you or the answers to my two questions are missing.

Or am I lacking a sense of humor?

I also find the idea of the utility room on the upper floor better than the laundry chute. Friends have a laundry chute and still don’t know how to properly "protect" it so their child doesn’t fall in, so at the moment there is a piece of furniture standing over it. Other friends have handled laundry disposal better – there, the laundry is simply thrown down the stairwell (old building over 4 floors).

Ideas for house construction that make everyday life easier:
- Roller shutter stopper as a strip instead of two knobs; first for the look, secondly the holes in the knobs are used, for example, by bumblebees or hornets or who knows what, friends have therefore all sealed their knobs
- Protect the facade against woodpeckers, other friends are currently having problems with this; and protecting against woodpeckers also works with a polystyrene facade
- If the towel radiator really wants to become warm, then it must not be on the same heating circuit as the underfloor heating or with a heat pump maybe not possible at all; if a really warm towel rail is desired, then possibly electric (note: for us this is not important at all, just as info)
- A walk-in shower without a glass wall saves the corresponding cleaning
- Not having the staircase directly in the entrance area avoids carrying dirt from the entrance area upstairs
- There is a coating from the manufacturer for the bathroom fixtures
- A controlled residential ventilation system saves multiple daily window ventilations
- E-roller shutters save cranking or pulling (although pulling with a strap is still faster than cranking)

It also works for us now and then.

Do you even have an idea how high the consumption of such a radiator is if it is really supposed to deliver performance?

Walk-in showers..... don’t they have to be cleaned?

What is wrong with all of you regarding the danger to the children - there apparently is a lack of simple planning.

Our discharge has a 30x30 swinging flap at about 90cm height. This flap opens to a cuboid space where there is a 315mm hole in the floor. No baby can get into this space and later on, no toddler would ever fit in there either. The shaft is flush next to the chimney flue in a masonry wall and cannot be suspected anywhere in the house.

:

You were right with the second guess . Nevertheless, I grew up as the oldest of four siblings and already know quite well what upbringing means. And we didn’t have separate laundry bags, but everything was in one pile - which still had to be sorted out. Just by the way without any serious relation to my previous-previous post

And regarding your question about the electric towel heater: To be effective, it needs power - but only briefly, so we are talking about a few euros per year.
