So, honestly - what does one even watch all day??? Breakfast TV in the morning for 15 minutes or so in the bathroom? I can still imagine a screen with fireplace visuals and crackling sounds in the evening while bathing...

And in the kitchen? Cooking shows while cooking yourself? I don't know, that would be too silly for me, I think.

I really can't imagine it, and I actually like watching TV. Well, since I have kids, nothing before 8:15 p.m... But earlier, sports, zoo shows, and 1-2 series.

We have had a built-in bio waste bin integrated into the countertop for years. It is nicely flush and hermetically sealed with a metal lid on a rubber gasket. All kitchen waste goes in there. I don’t have to run out for every little bit. Taking it out once a week is usually enough. What I would also like to have is a hygiene shower at the toilet (separate, not integrated). I am still not quite sure whether the automatic drain stoppers are really practical. But they sound great at first..

In the bathroom, I have only planned that for the bathtub - I wouldn’t watch anything there. Watching TV in the morning is out of the question...

In the kitchen, also just for fun - maybe watch the news or have some background noise while snacking.

No desire to "get annoyed" afterwards.

I watch TV for about 30 minutes a week, maximum, so it’s not really for me.. in the bathroom I’m too busy to watch a TV, when you get up early you don’t waste time. Sometimes I turn on the radio.. Otherwise, most of it is more luxury than clever everyday life simplifying ideas.

Hello

I can agree with that 100%.

In the new house, the TV disappears into a shelf behind a sliding door.

Thanks to Skygo, Amazon Instant Video, and Netflix, the regular TV program hardly runs for us anymore. It's simply more pleasant. And I still like my plasma to this day. I just had it repaired recently because a few capacitors blew up. But I never thought of using the TV as a recipe display. That's a good idea. It's just stupid that we took our TV down in the kitchen again because we didn't need it. Important for us was having a TV connection and network connections everywhere. And even more important to us was the supply shaft where we can pull cables or other things anytime in case we are missing something somewhere. What I also no longer want to do without is our indirect lighting of the staircase. It's simply great. It gives beautiful light and is not too bright.
