You don’t have to use a shower squeegee after every shower, correct.

Well, after every shower we squeegee the tiles, even though one of our showers is built with masonry. Water stains, soap residues... otherwise that leaves unsightly marks, especially in the grout. A glass wall is much easier to keep clean. Ours in the shower bathroom, anyway. Squeegee and that’s it.
Besides, the shower area dries better this way.

Using a squeegee or not... everyone can do as they please. It is certainly not necessary after every shower. Not even with glass walls.

Here are a few pictures on the topic of the laundry chute before any absurd ideas start to spread. Planning is everything. We don't have a utility room upstairs because I like to dry the laundry outside in the summer, and in my opinion, building a balcony for that is really a bit much...
1st picture: Kitchen unit in the utility room on the ground floor with the laundry chute above it.
2nd picture: This is where the laundry comes down and lands directly in the cupboard. Door closed and you see picture 1.
3rd picture: Laundry chute in the bathroom next to the bathtub. A decorative adhesive element will be placed on the flap. It is on order.
4th picture: Laundry flap open. No child will definitely fit through here, but our bedding and even my children’s blankets easily will.

So our daughter would take a stool and then more or less casually crawl into this hole... With enough time and energy, children can get into surprisingly small openings and holes....

: And with a controlled residential ventilation system, you neither need a balcony nor to dry outside.
