As far as I know, there are > 5 KfW programs for age-appropriate remodeling and energy-efficient renovation, as well as possible combinations. You want a detailed calculation for all combinations and can’t even narrow it down to whether it’s energy-efficient or age-appropriate? In your architect’s place, I also wouldn’t necessarily rush into the work with these requirements, knowing that a large part of the effort might be for nothing.

Well, an architect would probably be the last person I’d ask about such issues. More likely a building physicist. But what does the old building expert who (hopefully) accompanied the purchase say?

We do not want a detailed calculation, but a calculation at all that we can use as a basis to be able to compare ourselves in the first place... Energy consultant refers to architect - I do not understand who is responsible if not the architect. :-( There is no old building expert. At the second inspection, the architect was there and he said that it was not necessary. Ultimately, we knew that we wanted to redo everything anyway. But of course, such a basement waterproofing can also cost tens of thousands... Ultimately, that would not have stopped us from buying and if we had not taken it, 20 others would have already been waiting.

Haven't you received a cost calculation according to DIN 276 yet? But the building application has already been submitted?

I find that at least bold for a 70-year-old semi-detached house. Things can certainly come up that cannot be "simply" resolved even with "everything new."

I should have asked more specifically back then about the cost calculation according to DIN 276. In the meantime, the whole situation has escalated and we can hardly sleep anymore. :-(

Here I described it:

Have you not received anything else? No cost calculation before draft planning/building permit application? No cost estimate for the tender? On the positions extension and prefab garage alone, at least another 50% is added on top.
