Yes, all service phases. The architect said that we should simply write ourselves that we have agreed on a flat rate of 20k Euros + VAT for all service phases and sign this. However, before that, he had sent us an offer, which I will look for right away.

On 2/2, by the way, the old architect wrote: "Yesterday I received the existing plans and the static calculations of your house. Next week I will transfer your ideas onto the drawings and 'price them in.'"

Afterwards, the cost calculation came. So definitely not just thrown together blindly, but we had already expressed that we wanted, for example, solar, 2 full bathrooms (by the way, in the first drawings he had proposed 3 bathrooms), etc.

He didn't just black out the prices, he transferred the items. So the transfer is not visible, that's what the young architect told us.

This also does not correspond to the independent creation of a bill of quantities. And is more than borderline in terms of copyright.

That’s almost the same thing. Copy&Paste == effort about 15 minutes per offer by a trained Word user.

Creating a bill of quantities: intellectual performance of an architect including factual checking. To what extent a factual check was included in the c&p, I would like to cautiously doubt. As I said, you can do the former yourself, because I’m sure you can handle operating a PC. Such behavior from the architect could really make me lose my temper.

I can understand one thing... if someone is professionally competent and wants (and can) do a lot themselves and then hires an architect who just does the “stamp-Herrmann” for the officially required things. But you have to talk about that beforehand (not in writing) and communicate it that way. But then I would not officially commission performance phases 1-8 from the architect and both can be happy with that. But you need professional expertise, I gather from your two threads. Then as an architect I cannot deliver such a service and say "everything will be fine!".

THANK YOU! That’s exactly it. We commissioned HOAI 1-8 and did not skimp on it because we thought that with that we would have someone competent at our side who would accompany the project so that we can continue living two full-time jobs and a family life. We emphasized that we are happy to take on work that does not require manual skills. For example, I got the entire house and a large shed emptied with cubic meters of building material without disposal costs because I got rid of everything through Ebay Classifieds. I told all that and pointed out that I would also gladly take on similar things in the future wherever possible. That was laughed at. We have a large overgrown garden, where interim storage would be no problem, which I also communicated to the architect.
