Zaba, my concern with the "realistic planning" was not the excavation, but the overall calculation, which seems to be completely off.

But even with the excavation, containers for 34 cubic meters might have been justified, but not for 100. So who messed it up now? Over 15k euros disposal costs for excavation seem to be extortionate. The offer also said nothing about containers, see picture.

Yes, but that was useless anyway, we have already found that out.

No one will hold you liable for the on-top costs due to poor planning. It's also pointless now to go through the chain of errors and find someone to blame.

What has happened since Saturday/Friday after we all had a heated exchange here?

We have tried to reach the older boss several times daily (Friday and today) – no chance. We have sent various emails and today received a response from the young architect that he informed the structural engineer not to dispose of any more excavation material (the architect had told the structural engineer last week to already level the future terrace). He has contacted other companies for heating/plumbing and asked the others for discounts and cash discounts.

The container is not economical in any version.

Uh sorry but 150€ per cubic meter with container compared to 18€ per cubic meter with truck-transporter.

For your price, I could have disposed of almost 900 cubic meters.
And yes, it should have been your duty to point out, just because of the price difference, that you don't want that.

Discounts? Sounds like desperation on the architect’s part. There are no additional discounts. If you’re lucky, there might be 2-3% cash discount, no more.
