Ok. This is probably a discussion that leads nowhere... As I said, I have no idea about building itself and my husband only as a layman... These are the experiences that were made and you learn from them. As I said, if I had decided, I would still dare a flat roof with a terrace, but my hubby didn't and that's okay. After all, it is our house.

Hey, now that our architect has also finished the static calculations, I’m getting started on the further planning. This time it’s about the bathroom on the ground floor. I’d really like to hear your opinions on it. What do you think? Too cramped? Somehow different?

I don't have your floor plan so readily available anymore... can the window still be changed or would it harm the exterior view? I think the shower wall height takes up the room. You come in and don't see the window, rather your gaze goes toward this wall. But maybe that's just complaining on a high level?! ops:

Unfortunately, the window can no longer be changed and the door is also difficult because it is already located directly opposite the kitchen door and there is still a cabinet that fits on the adjacent wall. We initially planned to make the shower enclosure completely out of glass, but it is very cleaning-intensive and for me, a glass door alone would be enough and I would like to have a wall built. I understand the idea of the wall. Do you think it would be possible to build the wall like in this variant? Or would the entrance area be too narrow then? Half wall, half glass looks good visually, but it is impractical both for the wallet and for cleaning. Then I might as well take a complete glass shower enclosure, right?!

You also need a shower door with this variant, but it no longer opens like that.

We also had a door like that in the apartment before, which consisted of two parts and could be folded... Something like in the attachment. That should work, right?!
