Wow! Looks great! Thanks for the photos. I really like the wood tones and the light colors as well. Do you actually have parquet in the kitchen now or is it vinyl? I can imagine the need to recover from stress and also because of the budget, but you have time and can do it step by step now. It doesn’t all have to be perfect immediately.

Thank you! It is laminate from Meister everywhere. They are very long planks, I believe 2.40m. Everyone thinks it is parquet because it also has a nice texture on the surface and with underfloor heating, it is not really cold. But we will replace it with parquet sometime when the kids are out of the worst phase.

I am the one from the Hilfe-Fugenfarben thread. I looked at your photos here, very very nice! I think our tastes are a bit similar regarding colors and such, I also like your range hood. We also have a very similar slanted glass range hood - it’s not firmly ordered yet, I’m wavering between black and white - isn’t black less sensitive to grease splatters or scratches from rubbing? White would of course be much nicer.
This steel stringer staircase is also great, it has an ergonomic wooden handrail, I think that’s good.

Never again black in the kitchen, on any surface. *Panic* We had it and hated it. I think white, contrary to many opinions, is super resistant and quick to clean. I also never scrub the glass hood and the lacquer fronts! Degreaser if necessary, but mostly just glass cleaner is enough and it always looks great! But thanks for the compliments. We also love the stairs very much.
