New grill needed - but which one to choose?

Seems okay at first, although I couldn't see a picture of the burner area. Only marketing photos from the outside. How do you manage to operate four burners with only three controls? The viewing window would bother me unless you want to clean and polish it after every use. I would also wonder how it is constructed; possibly the grill has no double-walled lids to accommodate the window, which should be standard (by far) in this price range. An alternative might be the Napoleon Rogue, which is available in "all black".

You correctly recognized the differences. My dad also has yours, but unfortunately hasn't grilled once since he bought it in August *facepalm*
I really like the foldable side panels, they save space.
I can't really say about the cast iron grates, whether the normal one has them.

Well, the budget... I look at things first and then think about what I'm willing to spend. That's actually beyond my pain threshold, but I like to look a bit beyond it :-)

I also looked at Napoleon...
Napoleon Rogue 525 - all black, with side burner, special model 2020

costs more, whether there's any added value honestly I don't know.

Which alternatives would you suggest in the segment around €800?

Compare it with the Burnhard Big Fred DeLuxe - it should be equipped roughly the same but comes cheaper at 650€ (incl. [Abdeckhaube]).

We got the tip from a friend and the reviews for this grill are also good. We don't have it ourselves yet - but after my husband almost burned down our cheap grill by now, we will probably go for the Big Fred this year.

We just can't afford the fancy [Flammkraft].

I wanted that one too, but unfortunately the Special Edition in Black is no longer available. And I am very skeptical about stainless steel, I think it eventually doesn’t look nice anymore in the long run and requires a lot of maintenance. Or am I mistaken?

Everything identical, also bought there 1.5 years ago. Overall very satisfied. The lid insulation could be a bit better, loses too much heat in cold temperatures. The glass almost never needs cleaning.

The sizzle zone is awesome, I always use it for steaks. They come out amazing on it. Never without again.

I really can’t give you a recommendation. I’m not into it enough and only inform myself when I need something new.
But I found Napoleon and Broil-King quite interesting.
By now, I would rather look for something simple, without any bells and whistles, but with better craftsmanship.
Last year, I bought the Broil-King Royal 320 for my parents.
It has power without end, and the housing is made of aluminum cast, supposed to be nearly indestructible.
